Are we the only ones that can see a number of alerts sitting there, but not able to view them?

I have the same problem PAswingers. I contacted support about it but they were unhelpful. Says I have 9 but I'm unable to view them to delete them.

Alerts are next to messages. They come from Groups or Events for which you've shown an interest.
